To complete this Element you will need to do the following tasks:

1. As you work through the financial worksheets and tables, keep a list of any points that might be confusing to your reader.
2. By the time you have completed your Financial Elements to draft stage, you should have a healthy list of explanations. If you find it helpful, print a copy of your Financial Elements and study your projections. It can be very effective to have someone read through your projections–their questions may alert you to points that need clarification.
3. Using the Explaining Your Projections Worksheet, create a list of your assumptions and any notes you believe will help the reader understand how you arrived at your financial calculations.
