To complete this Element you will need to do the following tasks:
- As you work through the financial worksheets and tables, keep a list of any points that might be confusing to your reader.
- By the time you have completed your Financial Elements to draft stage, you should have a healthy list of explanations. If you find it helpful, print a copy of your Financial Elements and study your projections. It can be very effective to have someone read through your projections–their questions may alert you to points that need clarification.
- Using the Explaining Your Projections Worksheet, create a list of your assumptions and any notes you believe will help the reader understand how you arrived at your financial calculations.
