If you are starting a new business, when do you wish to open? If you are already in business, what date will you implement this plan?  If you have a start-up or implementation date in mind, write down your goal.

Start a new document. We recommend saving it as [your_business_name_goals_year_month_day]

If you set up the folders recommneded in Step 4, you should save your goals document in the “Admin” folder.

1. Identify and write your goals. Use the following questions as prompts.

• When will you start your business?
• When do you want to have your business plan done?
• When will the majority of your market research be done?
