Business Planner’s RoadMap: Prepare to Embark
You have begun a journey that will change your world.
You may be starting down this path with no business idea at all, with only an idea for your business, or with a business already in motion. No matter–the Business Planner’s RoadMap™ will give you control of your planning process.
Along the way, you may doubt yourself, your business idea or others. You must begin to gather a strong support system for your journey. One key to your success is to keep working toward your vision, regardless of obstacles.
One of the most powerful tools in your toolkit is your written personal vision and goals. There is pure magic in the simple act of writing down what you wish to achieve. You don’t always have to be able to see the solutions in order for them to work. When your goal or vision is written, the power of the universe begins to work with you to bring about success. Solutions will gravitate toward you. You will find the right people, knowledge, skills, and information you seek. To prove it to yourself, simply write out your goals and watch miracles blossom before your eyes.
Time Management for the Business Planner
Your business plan will come together more quickly if you invest sufficient time in the process. Of course it will take a lot longer to complete if you’re working at a job full-time or have other commitments that tie up your time and energy, but that’s acceptable too. The key is to use this process in a timeframe that works for you and your business.
Your business planning will go more quickly if you come to the process having already done part of the work. For example, many people think about their business idea for years–reading, talking, asking, listening, watching relevant videos and reading everything they can. Obviously those who have invested time and energy on their business idea should progress more quickly than those who have never previously given business ownership a thought.
External events may affect parts of your journey. Instead of stressing, keep pushing forward. If any step or task stops or frustrates you, apply your energy to another part of the process. Should you find yourself blocked for any reason–discouragement, disillusionment, procrastination–there’s no antidote quite like action. Just keep rolling forward!
From the very beginning, split your time between researching, writing and forecasting. The key is to work on each aspect of your process simultaneously.
