Many people find it difficult to write about themselves. This is an opportunity to tell about your strengths. In this Element you must communicate about your achievements in a positive way, without bragging.
Action
The narrative from this step will be part of the “Business Concept” section of your final business plan. In your business plan created from the Shell™, enter the following information under section the heading Business Concept, section 2.4 “The Owner(s)”.
To complete this Element you will need to gather information about yourself that is relevant to the business you are starting, then:
- Provide a brief snapshot of yourself, including any relevant educational or business achievements.
- Briefly outline your work experience and training as it relates to the specific business you plan to start.
- List your strengths and what you feel you will contribute to the business to make it successful.
- List your relevant achievements and successes.
- Note that your detailed resumé in the Appendices will support this Element.
